I’m Katya, a local dog trainer offering puppy classes and private training in and around Bonaly. I live just a couple of minutes away in Colinton.

A trainer close to home

I work one to one or in small groups, so every client gets enough attention, and I’ve worked with many clients in Bonaly over the years.

Group classes are a short trip away in my garden in Colinton. For private training I can come to your home, or we can meet at mine, and sometimes we use Spylaw Park or Campbell Park for specific exercises.

I’m a certified ABTC Animal Training Instructor and a member of the Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT), and I only use reward-based training. It makes learning fun for you and your dog, and builds a strong bond between you.

    A puppy is coming and there are a million questions swirling in your head. In one relaxed session I’ll help you get the house, the routine and yourself ready, so your pup starts well from day one.

    £90 for the consultation and guide

  • Puppy Classes

    A couple of minutes away in Colinton

    Five Saturday classes where your puppy learns good manners and to listen to you, even with other dogs around. Groups are small, so every pup gets proper attention from me.

    £120 for a block of 5 classes

  • Puppy Classes Level 2

    A couple of minutes away in Colinton

    The next step once your pup has finished Level 1. We build on everything you’ve learned and take it outside, with the last two classes in the park for real-life practice.

    £140 for a block of 5 classes

  • Private Training

    At your home in Bonaly, or online

    For a specific issue, or when you’d just like a more personal approach. We start with a proper conversation, then I build a training plan around you and your dog.

    £85 initial consultation, then £55 per session

    Bringing a puppy into a busy family? Congratulations. This program helps parents, kids and your new dog live together safely and happily, and fits around the life you already have.
